The next handset from BlackBerry developers RIM have got this crazy ‘clamshell-like’ shaped mobile phone. Running the new BlackBerry 6 OS, the clamshell is nothing like any Sony Ericsson phone or LG phone with its almost unique shape and certainly its unique name.
The new Blackberry handset has appeared on a development simulator and has since been shared around on the internet according to BB leaks on various different torrent sites.
we can see from the simulator a few things like a 4GB internal phone memory, which is no thanks to the fact that it is running Blackberry 6 OS and a 5MP camera as well as, yep you guessed it a full qwerty keyboard.
Any hopes of a part touch-screen handset seem to have been dashed due to the size and shape of the handset. Unless the handset has at least 512mb of RAM on board otherwise the BB6 OS will be a rather slow runner.
As of yet there has been no news on a release date for the handset but with the pending release of the BlackBerry Torch and the BlackBerry Curve 3G we can only hope that there will soon be news on a possible release date later on this year.
